About Inspiring Americans

Every day, Americans across the country shine their amazing light through the work that they do. When they shine, they inspire those around them to do the same. That powerful domino effect is how we make this country – and the world – a little brighter each day.

Our aim is to reflect that light and magnify it. To spotlight amazing people doing amazing things. To further inspire others to turn their own inner light outward and help make Canada a shining beacon of hope and progress.

Winners

Inspiring Canadian winners will be announced November 30th, 2018. One winner per category will be selected.

About Awards

Receiving an Inspiring Americans award is recognition of your impact on the world around you. It means your energy and efforts have lit up your corner of this amazing country, that you are a true leader in your field or area of expertise, and that we are eternally grateful for the work that you do.

Nominations

Nominations will be accepted up to October 30th, 2018. You may nominate yourself or someone you believe is a truly inspiring Canadian. This year’s categories include:

Sharing Your Story

We will share the photo and story of each winner on the Inspiring Americans website as well as our social media outlets.

We would love it if you would share your story as well and tag us @InspiringAwards. After all, winning an award for being inspiring is definitely grounds for tooting your own horn!

We may also share stories of other nominees on the Success Stories page to hopefully inspire them to keep on shining their amazing light. We may not all be winners (this time), but we can all be leaders.

Accepting an award and/or submitting a nomination on behalf of yourself will be considered permission to share your story and photo on our website and social media. If you submit a nomination on behalf of someone else, please include their contact information (if possible) so that we may request their permission to share their story. Contact information will never be shared or otherwise distributed.
